It's FRIDAY and I'm in LOVE...
I love everything about it.
It's creamy color,
it's awesome back rack,
the contrast stitching on the handles,
{ s w o o n }
and as soon as it arrives, a little whicker basket.
{ more swoons }
I finally did it,
I went out and bought myself this bicycle today.
I've been wanting a bicycle for some time now.
I was hoping to find a vintage one, but instead
I found the next best thing a new retro style hybrid.
I haven't had a bike since I was a little kid, and
I have to tell you, It is absolutely the most fun...
I totally feel like a kid again.
I can't wait to get out and ride with my little wrens and fly like the wind,
they are going to be so happy but not nearly as happy as their mama...
I am SMITTEN.
My bike is perfect in every way for me, and it's such a great workout too.
I took her out for a spin as soon as I got her home and my quads felt huge when I stopped.
I was panting, sweating buckets, and grinning from ear to ear...
I'M SO HAPPY
{ if you've seen Dispicable Me, I'm so happy sounds like "It's so Fluffy" }
My friend Tami went with me today to pick her out, and we've already planned to go out
for a trail ride next week, I am so excited I don't think I can wait till next Friday.
I think I'll name her Gretta with two t's...cuz that's just how I roll.
I don't know why I must name it...I just have to.
HAPPY WEEKEND & HAPPY RIDING

I LOVE it! and am so happy to enjoy vicariously! I went to a local bike shop several times through the summer and they never had anything but gungy 10 speeds. Good for you. Have a great weekend! xo Erica
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute and please take a picture with you riding it for us! I love the color and the basket will be so cute. Have you thought of a bell? I"m not kidding! I have one and it has been helpful in getting people out of the way when riding with the kiddos!
