Is your closet overflowing like mine?
Do you still have things you can't or won't ever wear again?
Well join me as I....
Turn Em' & Burn Em'
to clear the excess from my overflowing closet.
{that's texas hold em' lingo... you gotta know when to hold em' and when to fold em'
& honestly, between you and me I'm really sick of folding em'}
All you have to do is turn your hangers backwards in your closet,
come back in six months time & donate the items you haven't turned back around.
{this means you didn't wear it, and you probably won't so why hold onto it}
Isn't this a fabulous idea?
I wish I could take credit, but I found it on Pinterest.
{oops thought I pinned it but didn't}
I couldn't wait to get started so I've already begun to do my closet,
but I need to finish up this weekend & tackle everyone elses.
Let me rephrase that....get everyone else on board to tackle theirs.
Also on the agenda for the weekend....carpet cleaning.
I like to save the really fun cleaning projects for the hubs & I.
{ sounds glorious huh.....you know you're jealous of our exciting weekend plans }
TGIF
{peace, love & hugs}

ReplyDeleteI'm with ya, mostly jeans in my closet too, and I'm starting to build up a little collection of uber comfy sweats {that's so bad to admit}. Have a great weekend.
DeleteGosh, I really need to clean out my closets. I have stuff I haven't worn in years. It's been on my mind to do for weeks and then I saw this post. Guess I'd better get crankin'!
ReplyDeleteCarrie - Just discovered your blog and I absolutely love it! I'm now a member and can't wait to see more! Love the idea about the hangers! Thanks for sharing!

That is a wonderful idea, and so simple. In my small house, every inch of space counts. I just started following you on Pinterest. You have been very busy there as well! How do you find the time to do all you do? Wishing you a good coming week.
