Welcome to my new & improved potager garden.
The picture below is my end goal, and as you can see we have a ways to go.
Here it is just the other day, via instagram.
It's grown a lot in a few weeks, but as you can see I still have some bare spots to fill in.
{ roma tomatoes }
{ squash }
{ cucumbers }
First fruits, I love this time of year.
How are your gardens coming along?
{peace, love & hugs}
Carrie
Your potager is coming along beautifully. I love your inspiration garden, too. My potager is just in the planning stages so you have really inspired me today. As for my garden...we have picked our first tomatoes and cucumbers, radishes and green onions. The corn is tall and the snap peas are coming along fine.
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like your garden is really taking off, and what a variety. I still have lots of planting to do, and I got a bit of a late start this year. Oh well, I'm already planning for my fall garden, as this summer is getting away from me. : )
DeleteCarrie it looks amazing, you might not think so because you see it everyday, but it is coming along so nicely..and your veggies! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, you are right....the Lord has blessed me with a beautiful garden to take care of : ).
DeleteWhat a perfect place to have a garden! Love that you have the two chairs on the end!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, it's going well so far though I could definitely put more time in. I especially love my chairs because my father made them for me. Take Care,Carrie
DeleteI love your potager! I think your have the same adirondacks that we do or they are very similar. We bought ours at Costco about 12 yrs ago and they were handmade by the Amish. I love them. Our Potager is growing too. I've been picking squash and stir frying with almonds and fresh parmesan in olive oil...so good. You have alot of land.
ReplyDeleteI love my adirondacks too. My father built them for me as a Christmas gift many years ago. I keep telling him he could make them to sell, they are so nice. I'll have to try your idea for squash, that sounds delicious. We do have a good bit of land, almost 2.5 acres. Hopefully someday I'll have all of it in use with gardens, chickens & sheds, maybe even some goats & sheep...little by little, all of that takes quite a bit of time & money : ). Take Care, Carrie
DeleteYour garden is so pretty! Nice harvest!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much : )

ReplyDeleteThese pictures make me regret not putting a garden in this year!
ReplyDeleteIt's trully lovely! It looks like the plants are filling in very nicely. The chairs and the birdbath are a very lovely touch too.

ReplyDeleteA garden is such a refuge - love herbs and vegetables for you!
ReplyDeleteMy "garden" consists of several pots on my front porch with flowers that I have kept alive for over a year. This is HUGE progress! It is also about moving from Arizona to California. I'm thinking of potting some vegetables and you have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteI found you in my mailbox ... in Romantic Homes. A lovely find, indeed.
Thanks ~ Mary
