Happy Weekend Everyone!
Woo Hoo, I can't believe how quickly this week has flown by.
I did a major house cleaning yesterday,
and I finally added my seashells and vintage bottles to my windowsill in my bath.
Here are a few photos of those natural beauties...
I just love them.
I've come to realize that the things that inspire me most are from NATURE.
{ GOD'S CREATIONS }
Be it a stick, a pinecone, a sea shell whatever it is
if it's been collected from this earth it is truly beautiful to me.
Not to say that man made things can't be lovely too,
for instance, I love this collection of vintage glass bottles.
I am inspired by their beauty, shape and uniqueness.
Now when I get the chance to take a nice long bubble bath,
I have something soothing and relaxing to look at.
I hope you guys all have a wonderful weekend.
RELAX & ENJOY
:: peace, love & hugs ::

Carrie I am just like you, love natural things! I really adore using pine cones and bare twigs in the winter. I'm ready to start picking little flowers and greenery from my yard this spring. I want to buy bunches of fresh tulips for my birthday party. I have a large collection of vintage bottles, too. I embellish and sell them in the shop from time to time but love them displayed together like you did in your window sill.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!!

I thoroughly enjoyed your post. I find that it is very uplifting to have things around the house that connect us with nature. As a people, we've lost our connection to nature and every little thing that helps us reconnect is a good thing. I've been in too many people's homes where there is not a single natural object in the house from nature. I don't know how people can live like that. I can't. You should see my house! :)

They do complemnet each other so well. What a pretty display.
ReplyDeleteThere is just something so nice about seashells and old bottles. I like to fill an old glass container with seashells too and a candle in the middle. Just so pretty.
