:: help me to know

You gift me with all the good gifts that make me the person you created me to be. Help me to know and find your will and to trust that you will help me to understand the path you call me to journey in life. Where there is doubt give me courage. Give me a heart open to your quiet voice so I can hear your call to me. Help me to know your faithfulness and help me to be faithful to that which you call to me. Amen.

Happy Weekend

:: life & peonies

Hello sweet friends, how are you?

I'm so sad that I haven't been able to make it here more often, but let me just tell you....life really has me going these days. I have so much to share with you, but I just can't seem to find the time to get to my computer to post anything. I was actually just taking some photos for a project that I can't wait to share with you when Papa called & needs my assistance. Soooo, off I go....a Mama Wren's work is never done. I plan to get back here very soon to share all that's been going on in our n.e.s.t.

Until then I hope you enjoy this photo of my lovely peonies....
why oh why do they have to fade so fast?

:: first peonies

Nothing makes me happier than fresh flowers on my table. Except when those flowers come directly from my own gardens. These are the first of my Peonies to bloom this year. I generally have a hard time cutting them but these were drooping to the ground so I thought I would save them by bringing them in to be enjoyed. I added some clippings from my Lemon Balm and a few blooms of my False Indigo. I think they made a lovely arrangement, I only wish fresh blooms lasted forever.

After a long break from my blog, I'm feeling my creative juices starting to flow again so I hope to visit more in the coming days. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. See you again soon.

:: peonies

I love peonies, but it makes me sad how fleeting their blooms are. I wish they bloomed as long as hydrangeas. They are so beautiful and so delicate that a heavy rain comes and you are left with a pile of petals where there was once a beautiful flower. I've decided that the best thing is to cut them and bring them inside where I can truly enjoy their beauty.

So gorgeous are those frilly light pink blooms....

Happy Monday to you. It's a beautiful sunshiny day here, though it will be a little too hot to really enjoy being outside. I don't know how we survived summers in the south before air conditioning, I only know that if we didn't have it I would be moving somewhere a little cooler.

Have a wonderful day.
